One of the most beautiful, natural and raw places in South East Asia that is practically as it was 50 years ago. Throw in beautiful people, spectacular scenery and beaches, perfect uncrowded waves and spectacular fishing, Telos is guaranteed to have you planning your return trip before you leave. Telos Lodge is situated on its’ own island approximately 6 nautical miles from the main township of Telos with the resort facing east on the lee side of the island offering glass like conditions for water sports and swimming most of the time. The three villas each sleeping up to four persons catch the morning sunrise, and there’s nothing better than starting the day from your deck with a cup of coffee. The main dining/lounge area hosts a fully stocked bar, six three seater lounge chairs, hammocks and a large screen tv with a wide array of movies. The surf report for the day is obtained looking from the back steps of the dining room to the ocean side of the island which is situated approximately 100 meters away. All the villas have toilets/showers inside and outside as does the restaurant enabling a quick fresh water rinse off after a swim or surf. WAVES
There are plenty of waves in Telos with the most amazing thing being the solitude. A number of waves in the region are known only to a few people which pretty much guarantees sessions of surfing alone, just you and your mates. Unlike the Mentawais where there is a high percentage of lefts, Telos offers an equal amount of lefts & rights catering for all standards from world class barrels to fun deep water shoulders. Wind and swell direction is not really a factor as there are a number of breaks easily accessible to Telos Lodge which work on opposing directions.
