Telo Island Lodge is located in the Batu islands a group of islands approximately 180 nautical miles from the city of Padang on the island of Sumatra. The Batu group sits between Siberut, the northern most island of the Mentawai group and the island of Nias. Our lodge is on the island of Sibranun in a smaller grouping again that is known as the “Telos”.
As the name suggests accommodation is high- end luxury lodge style. Our buildings are all constructed using organic materials milled on the island. All roofing is traditional thatch and all our furnishings compliment the surrounds. Guests enjoy twin share air conditioned rooms, all beds are king size and the rooms come with en-suite bathroom that includes a hot and cold shower and western toilet. LOCATION
Access to the lodge is via a short 45-minute flight from Padang or 1 hour flight from Medan to the local airport Lasondre on the island of Tanah Masa. The airport is just a short boat ride from our doorstep.

ACTIVITIES
Surf and surf! Non surfers can walk the beach, sun bath, collect shells and visit the local village and explore the island. For those who are more adventures can go snorkeling or Game fishing.
WAVES
The Telos island group consists of 51 islands and is located at the top of the Batu Archipelago between the Mentawais and Nias Island. They are largely unexplored but that is rapidly changing with new breaks being found all the time, many of them still remaining a secret.
The surfing here is still uncrowded. The surf is consistently 3-5ft and with breaks facing in many directions and working at different tides it is likely there will be an offshore spot breaking somewhere around whenever there is a swell.
