Chris has been scouring the globe over the past 10 years, surfing BIG waves and making a name for himself and RSA.
True Blue have been proud to be involved and assisted where ever possible. Now finaly Chris has made good on what ive known he can do. Mavericks was HUGE anmd is HUGE! And to win in the biggest and heaviest surf Ever contested just shows how core this was.

I sat with Chris and asked him a few things that have not been covered by others in the media. Some comparisons and inside info to BIG waves here in SA and the World.
This is what he has to say:

-How much Respect is there at Mavericks?
CHRIS= Loads of respect, of the wave and the locals.
-How is the local scene?
CH= intimidating but pretty mellow- pay your dues, be friendly , watch and learn. Its got busy, and now the SA crew are on it too….. we all earned our respect.. ive been doing it there for 10 years, Twig for 5 or 6 and the other guys are just doing their first or second season….

-New SA guys in the line up there?
Who will get into Mavs contests next ( if any SA guy)

Do you wanna join the first SUP trip to madagascar.
True Blue were the first to take SURFERS & KITERS there, and now will be the first to take SUP to madagascar.
