Simeulue has the longest fetch out of any Indonesian Island. It can utilize swells from the North West around India and the Maldives. This is a bonus as it does not have to rely on Southern swells like most other Indonesian surfing spots. It also picks up the full brunt of South swells as the island is situated at more of an angle than the other islands and is at the top of a 6km deep x 800mile trench. Swells received here have a longer period, longer lines and barrels.

Be amongst the first to surf this amazing slice of wave paradise. Surf right out front on a world class peak break and enjoy the dream scape backdrop as you get barrelled of your nut. Stay in one of three awesome beachside bungalows and watch your mates score waves or sit down on your spacious deck sipping Bintangs as you languidly watch the sunset after a full day of surfing- A Frames Lodge is a surfer’s heaven a stay at A Frames will exceed you expectations.
