Hi Greg - as promised - some feedback about the trip/baggies!



Rudolf Janse van Rensburg:



Baggies: Thanks Hurley, insane baggies: ultra flexible, comfortable and cool. Already had one pair of Hurley baggies in my luggage and to get another on the house was an absolute bonus.

Trip to the south: What can I say. Waves were awesome and the variety of waves were insane. From dodging knee deep stag horn coral heads at 2-3 times overhead Beacons to the absolutely rip-able faces of Tigers Stripes and Love Charms and the pits of Blue Bowls. Boat was insane and food rocked. Fishing and diving was top notch and the marine life is abundant as to be expected. Thanks Greg and True Blue team for putting together yet another awesome trip and experience for us.

The Maldives - what an amazing place, warm water, amazing people and great waves! It was the epitome of luxury and paradise. A place where you can get caught up in deciding to pull into the barrel or to sit amazed at the natural beauty of your surroundings wondering whether you will ever again have the opportunity to experience the moment.

In terms of the baggies, usually the best of trips get spoiled by baggie rash in places I won't mention! I ended up surfing in the same pair of baggies for most of the trip and I must admit, its the best pair I've ever had in terms of durability, flexibility and comfort! Definitely taking a pair on the next trip!

Hurley baggies: Light and water repellent – which means it’s perfect for trips to the tropics. Most comfortable baggies I’ve ever worn.

Trip: Just got back from our 13 day trip to the southern atolls in the Maldives. Once again we had a great trip! 5 of us, a French couple and an Aussie. Other crowds consisted of about 6 other guys at the most (but we only surfed together for a session or 2). We had about 4 days of worldclass waves, 4 days of good surf and some smaller surf (2 days flat). We surfed 5 different waves - all of them worldclass on their day. Snorkeling and fishing was superb - visibility up to 50m. The food was also exceptionally good with a great variety of dishes with each and every meal. The boat also had a flat screen TV for watching DVDs and a new expresso maker :-) We would not have been able to sleep had it not been for the welcome aircon in the cabins. We bought local sim cards and were able to stay in touch with those back home as well as having access to internet swell forecasts and email on our phones (Hugo even traded shares from his phone while on the boat). The boat and crew were very well organized and I can recommend your operators you used for us there ( WS). They have been operating the longest in the region and also have the best standing with the few local surfers. Thanks again for arranging a great trip and also to TRUE BLUE and Michele for having to deal with all our difficult questions!
