This is the proposed tour although your visit can be taylor made to your specific activities of choice and your preferred budget and length of stay. The most important thing on this tour is your surfing and all tours and activities will be scheduled around premium surfing conditions. Waves School of surfing Tours is ideal for all levels of surfing and ability. Mossel Bay has many different types of waves from beach breaks, reef breaks and Point breaks that will suit your surfing. The focus of the tour is to improve his or her game at the same time enjoying the many sights and activities Mossel Bay hosts.
All surfing sessions will be videoed and analysed on the big screen in my class room, this has proven to be the most successful form of surf coaching. As well as continous coaching either from the beach or the water during the surf. Groups will be limited to four people to ensure safety and quality of tuition by doing so also not crowding the line up and respecting the locals.
When you come to Mossel Bay you can see and do it all, we have beautiful mild weather all year round and great surf. In the morning you can see the big five on a Game drive and by mid day be back in the water or go and see the big 4 by sea, whales, sharks, dolphins and seals. GARDEN ROUTE SURF TOUR - packages
Day 1:
You will be picked up at your preferred airport either George (R) or Cape Town (R) and we go surfing at the best spot of the day to see how your surfing and wash off the traveling.
Day 2:
Everyday will start with a surf check and a surf spot decided on for the day depending on surfing ability. Today at some point if the waves are not cooperating we will go shark cage diving.
Day 3
Surf check! Whats the wind doing? Whats the tide doing? Whats the swell doing? Where are we going to surf today? Let go surfing. We can also visit the Museum today too.
Day 4.
Up at dawn with the birds to check the conditions. Surf pending we can go vist the big cats at Jukani for feeding time.
Day 5
We surf all day again and that afternoon we go to Garden Route Game Lodge for the night and the next morning we go on a Game drive and meet the local residence.
Day 6
After breakfast and a game drive we head back to Mossel Bay for a surf to end off a great week.
We can add a couple days to the trip an include a couple surfs in Jefferies Bay only a 3 hour drive away
The 6 day tour is for the real surfer at heart and is the most jam packed, adventurous tour you could ever imagine. Six days of exploring, surfing and sightseeing.

The Point is very unique; it has two waves breaking next to each other, Inner pool and Outer pool. The prevailing wind is South West which is off shore and it also bring swell from Cape Town and the roaring forties, Outer pool works on a low tide its has an easy take off and a slow tapering shoulder that stands up at bottom section which is often a barrel or big turn section.
Inner pool is a high tide wave and is more of a hotdog type wave, there is a rock half way down the line called peanut butter , so be careful.
Inside the bay we have two reefs that work on different tides, swell directions and sizes. As well as point and the reefs we have a friendly learn to surf beach right inside the bay called Diaz beach.
Then for those that like to explore there are many other beaches and points within 100km radius that will blow your mind depending on swell and wind. If you want we can also visit Jefferies Bay only a 3.5 hour drive away.
