The Camp is located at the end of the North Male Atoll and is about a 25-30min speedboat transfer from the airport. It features two of the best waves the North Male region has to offer. Cokes a hollow right hander which is a favourite amongst locals! and Chickens just on the other side of Cokes Island, a long Left Hander which on its day looks a lot like Uluwatu in Bali!
If Cokes or Chickens is not the best spot to surf, our local surf guide will take you aboard our surf transfer boat to nearby breaks including Sultans, Jailbreaks, Ninjas and Honkeys. However please note, only 2 trips are permitted a day and you must leave before dark to get back to the camp safely, no exceptions!
THULU SURF CAMP - activities
When staying at Thulu Surf Camp you will also be treated to one traditional style meal set on the beach in a bonfire setting. The local people all dress up in their traditional outfits and build amazing sand sculptures of whale sharks, sting rays, crabs etc. They then set up candles and a bonfire around tables and chairs where you will be eating the catch of the day as well as local curries and other traditional dishes. You will be joined by other guests staying aboard charter boats and the other guests staying on the Island.
Amongst Surfing all day and hanging out on a hammock outside under a palm tree, Thulu Surf Camp also offers guests an amazing snorkelling adventure with local guides as well as fishing on hot spot reefs also accompanied by local island people who happen to know the best fishing spots like the back of their hands!

The Guesthouse features 5 large rooms all with en-suites, air conditioning, queen size bed and ceiling fan. The rooms sleep up to 4 people each. The guesthouse also features a large entertainment area with cable Television to keep you occupied after a long day surfing. The entertainment room also has a fridge which you can help yourself to cold soft drinks and water. It is also air conditioned and has Wireless Internet.
All meals are included in our surfer package, but you can choose what time you wish to eat, if at all depending on the surf conditions, and how much you want to surf.
Unfortunately alcohol is NOT PERMITTED on Thulu Surf Camp as it is a local native island which must abide by the government laws of The Maldives as well as the Islamic faith.
