The land is harsh and the ocean is wild, but the outer reefs offer some of the most beautiful, perfect and uncrowded waves in the world.
The Resort is 2 hrs by fast boat from Tulear, and is situated on a golden beach. Consisting of 10 Bungalows with western toilets and style, a restuarant, chill out area and bar. Awesome food, cold beer, volley ball on the beach and cooking waves with VERY few, if any other surfers around.


The area is dry and semi arid, yet the water and climate is tropical and warm. The Sunshine Resort has been in operation in conjunction with True Blue Surf Travel for the past 9 years. After first using charter boats in the early 2000s, it was apparent that land based was a more comfortable option and actually a better way to access the best surf spots at the right time.
