The Island of the Gods is often seen as the Hawaii of the east. So many cooking breaks and set ups, and two seasons that produce waves all year round.

Bali is a wave haven, and offers waves of every type and size, all of them quality. Surfers have been visiting Bali since the early sixties. Waves like Uluwatu and Padang Padang put Bali on the map, and many new waves have been discovered since. Kuta is the launch pad, and offers everything that you need and desire. From hotels and restaurants to banks, car hire, markets, shops and much much more. Generally, Poppies Lane area in Kuta is a vibey and fun part of town with lots of budget accommodation. Kuta offer beach breaks and some reefs at Airports and Kuta Reef. Legian and Tuban are a bit further from town centre and are a bit less hectic. Across the peninsula is Nusa Dua, which offers a big right hander and a few other lesser known waves. This area works in the wet season. Not far off and also on the eastern side of the peninsula is Sanur.

Here to are some fantastic reefs and beachies that have become well know for there quality surf in wet season. The Bukit peninsulas western coast is the land of the lefts with Ulus, Padang, Impossibles, Bingin, Balangan and more. Many of the younger travellers and surfers stay at Losmen ( home stay) on the cliffs and beaches along this area.
