She is an iron wood ocean cruiser with few frills, but all the basics and essentials TV, DVD, Fridges, Electronics, safety equipment etc. on board, and the 8 berth Dorm is air-conditioned.

Her skipper is "The Legendary" Kiwi who has been in the Mentawais for over 18 seasons, who helped discover many breaks, and trained many of the other skippers in the area.

She has been doing charters to the Mentawai's, Telos, Nias and Banyak Islands for 18 seasons. So, she knows how to find the best waves with the least crowds in Sumatra, from the Lagundry Bay in Nias, the Hinakos, to the bay of plenty in the Banyaks, the telos long rights, also the famous waves in the Mentawai's such as Rifles, No kandui, Ebay, Playground, Telescopes, Bintangs, Ht's, Lances, Maccas, Rags, Thunders, Greenbush, the Hole and much more!

We specialize in small groups of 6 people, but are capable of taking 8 passengers if you have a couple of extra mates who want to come along for the ride.

Her safety equipments include: Garmin GPS, 16mile Radar, Furuno depth sounder, Fishfinder, SSB and VHS radios, EPIRB, 2 compass, Life Jackets & Safety Rings, Fire Extinguishers, Two anchors, medical and first aid kit.

Your guide and owner has been operating in these areas for ages! He is the well-known Great Captain with good personality and knowledge. The Indonesian crew are fully qualified provide great services. And going on charter with The Flying Kuta also means that you can do snorkelling and also catch some delicious fish!
