The Indian Resort ( and new Mornea Resort)are by far the best location for surfers and Kiters. Located on the southern tip of the Le Morne peninsula, access to One Eyes (Left and Right) and a few secret spots makes it one of the most convenient options. No driving - unless you wish to explore further north or south - Kite from the beach - Amazing flatwater fun in super consistant 15- 25 Knot winds. Awsome waves riding at One Eye and teh Pass out front.
Viewable from the Beach and a quick walk and a 15 min paddle (or short boat ride) from your hotel room for a surf check makes it convenient and super easy!
The PASS, directly infront of the hotel offers a FUN and mellow right hander in the channel and is great for longboarding and learning, while on the outside the reef kicks out some longer and hollower walls. Tamarin Bay is only a shorty 20 min drive away. And this is WORLDCLASS!
Your family or partner will be more than happy to hang by the pool. The hotel offers top notch service with evening entertainment and loads of activities for all.

The Indian Resort offers so much for everyone - Known for its Kiteboarding and windsurfing - there is equipment and lessons available( not incl)
FREE: Aerobics, table tennis, basket polo, water-polo, aqua gym, mini foot, rental of bicycles. There is also waterskiing, catamarans, sailboards,pedalo boats, canoes, a glass bottom boat, NON INCL.snorkelling excursions, hobiecats, and scuba diving to choose from.
There is also a kid's club exclusive to children aged 3 to 12 and has an African village set up. This 2500 square metre play area consists of a pool (with continuous supervision) and cabins with theme games. Events are organized by age group: 3-5 years, 6-8 years, and 9-12 years. WIND: The best time for wind is from April to Oct; but there can be good kiting year round. Ave winds are between 13 and 25 knots, and generally blow almost 8 out of 10 days from 11 am onwards during season. Wind is from the SSE, and is perfecty cross and cross offshore, depending where you kite.
FLAT water for speed and tricks; and awesoem learners beach and facilities. Outside on the reef, is ONE EYE. Now world renownd as one of the best, long left reef/point breaks that is PERFECT for kiting and sailing.
RESCUE services are offered by the Mistral School at the beach. This is a dangerous off shore reef for kiting ; so GOOD kiters only, and kite with a friend.La Morne and this beach has become known as one of the TOP 3 KITE BEACHES in the WORLD!
