I have travelled a fair bit and never have I been to a place where surfers are treated so well. Sure you pay for the limited crowd but the food is great, the guys from atoll do whatever for the surfers, whenever and it attracts a slightly older like minded set of surfers. The accommodation is top notch and it would be a cool place to take a partner just as long as she likes mellow snorkeling and tanning. There’s a great pool, real life aquarium every time you go surfing. apart from me, the next most rookie was a guy on his 5th trip. Most are near ten trips and they tell me it constantly improves the food was fantastic and you eat breakfast, lunch and dinner while perfect lefts roll down as you smash back desert round number 5 beers after surfed out days on the deck directly in front of the wave the place is not Indo crazy in terms of wave quality but its super good, super rippable and just plain fun on the last day I tore my MCL (knee injury) on the last wave of a 5 hour surf. That was the least I surfed in a day and my best innings on the booze was 4 beers cos I was always so shattered that two would suffice.
I have sent a few quick shots but I haven’t even got close to seeing them all – I have over 1000 plus a dvd of me surfing non stop for 30 minutes – literally hundreds of waves of the 1500 i semi worked out I caught. Surfers are a vain bunch and they like this shit,I had it 2 ft and I had it six foot – it was all a blast.
That was my 10th Maldives trip from the early 90′s to now – the waves might be better down south, but as a package, pasta kills anywhere I’ve been

We had an awesome trip – couldn’t have asked for better surf, food, hospitality and weather – although according to the locals it was not as perfect and consistent as normal ! We had 3 foot glassy A-frames at Mandiri Beach, solid 6 foot adrenalin lefts at UBs and 3-5ft perfection at Js with just Jordan and I out for most of the day ! Best left and right I’ve surfed – besides J-Bay and a freakishly good day of lefts at Gonubie.
Camp was fantastic and no problems with transfers, flights etc.
I would recommend Diamond Bungalows for anyone looking for good waves and a friendly island vibe that you won’t experience anywhere else in the world.
Unfortunately we never took pics when the surf was firing because we were surfing but the memories of those bombs will be with us forever !
Thanks for recommending and organising the trip – it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience – although I will go back as soon as I can afford it!

MAURITIUS – WELCOME HOME!
We had the most incredible holiday and would never be able to replicate our experience it elsewhere or have the same value for money!
The Movenpick had something special for all of us. The concierge connected us with the HIBISCUS- a two man operation that took us swimming with about 40 wild dolphins, snorkeling on the reef, crayfish braai on a tiny island and safe return to our hotel! Shout if you want their details! They rocked and were very well priced, I think too cheap for what they did!
- we should have organised kids meals on the plane. Having never taken our kids overseas, I didn’t know this could be done. Maybe a tip to offer it to clients when they book.
It was truly an amazing experience!

MALDIVES BLISS

My husband and I finally lived our dream of visiting the Maldives and it was as picture perfect as we imagined it to be.
Crystal clear warm water, amazing sea-life and once in a life time experiences!
We stayed at Good Life guesthouse which is on a quiet little local island – if it’s an authentic serene experience you are after then this is the place to stay – they have a private beach, the staff are kind and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay a happy one. They organise all sorts of activities from a morning on a private sand bank (that is literally 4 meters squared) to surfing and snorkelling trips.
After Good Life we moved over to another local island where we stayed at Waves Villa – our host was amazing and nothing was a stress. He taught us a local word which meant ‘all good’ and we got by using this for everything J . Waves Villa is perfect for surfers – just a short walk to see your wave options of Jail breaks, Sultans or Honkeys for the day. My husband was in his element!
We surfed, SUP’d, canoed, snorkeled, chilled and enjoyed every second we were in paradise.

Hi guys
On behalf of the team thank you for arranging the perfect set up for the team. The Lodge was well positioned within walking distance to great shops, ATM and getting a local taxi to get down to the beach. We had taken over the whole lodge so it was like a large house and with the kitchen it was a pleasure for everyone. The staff was great and always helpful. The transfer from the airport was great and came prepared for surfboards which were no problem to them. Would defiantly go back there if they choose Lima again for the World Champs.

We had an INCREDIBLE time! Bali was AMAZING and the places you booked us into were awesome! Amanda’s was so relaxing and Alamsari was so special. The staff were so helpful and friendly! we felt so spoiled!
Thank you for ALL your help and kindness! it was the BEST trip ever! we even managed to win a 5 star holiday whilst there so honeymoon sorted! we would DEF go back to bali any day!
Greg got few surfs in. he enjoyed but he knew it wasnt going to be best ‘surf season’. we were busy every day either snorkelling or swimming or just exploring.
Balinese SUPEr friendly and we felt so safe. nothing was any trouble.
i would def suggest Amanda’s and Alamsari to anyone going!
