Yup, Great trip ( to Madagascar).
We surfed 2 sessions a day for the 1st 4 days, and had waves every day bar 2 days.
The Sunshine Safari is great and very comfortable with Cathrin a great host. Juan looked after us well.
Anakoa is a bit of a shithole, but all in all, a great trip.

I think we will go back there. Way better than Bali, with no crowds and way more relaxed.

Hey Cands,
Got siek waves (In Madagascar)– totally surfed out.
No problems at all with baggage and the like – all went to plan.
All in all a good trip – would recommend it.

Chris Bertish took time out in Mauritius after winning the Mavericks competition.
Chris needed to chill and flew off to the Island Holiday destintion of Mauritius where he scored cooking warm water tropical waves at One Eye Reef and a few other hidden gems.

He recons the Indian Ocean Resort was amazing and the SUP in the lagoons and bays was like being in Hawaii.
He drank cocktails, local beer, SUPed , windsurfed and surfed and had an amazing time. Watch this space and the press for PICS and his story.

Chris Bertish won Mavericks in 2010. He now has a chance to surf in the Eddie Big Wave Event at Waimea.
